This is one of the most grounding questions I can ask myself when I feel insecure, uncertain or overwhelmed.
It would be closed minded if you dismissed learning from others and arrogant to suggest one person knows it all. So it’s not to say other peoples views aren’t useful or valid – it’s just you can decide. Take what you like and leave the rest.
When it comes to feeling balanced – what matters most is what you think of yourself. Your actions, behaviours and decisions. If you reflect and think you could do something differently next time, that’s great. If on the other hand you like who and how you are, then also great.
Ask yourself more often what you think and you’ll feel more stable and self assured.
