By ‘me’ I mean who ever is reading this (including actual me 😊)
We are responsible for ourselves. The actions we take, our behaviors and what we spend time on.
Therefore we should take ownership of how we feel. That can be difficult to accept. But it’s true.
This is what I try to do:
And I often fail by the way. So I start by reminding myself that self mastery is a ‘regular times a day’ thing…
- Focus on what’s in your control and accept what isn’t
- Practice self-reflection. I like to think and write
- Be clear on what matters to you
- Draw boundaries around the important things and protect them
- Have a life plan
- Take action on your priorities
- Train and follow your compass
- Invest in your body
- Prioritse you sometimes
Ultimately it’s about ownership of ‘me’ and looking after yourself so that you have the capacity to be happy and are able to support others.
