There are two types of resilience, getting back up and being difficult to knock down in the first place.

The latter follows the former.

As we learn from set backs, difficulties and failures we become more robust. And in doing so we develop skills, habits and a mindset that prevents us from being overwhelmed or defeated.

Those with high levels of self-mastery have the strength of mind to move through adversity and the courage to get back up, time and time again.

So rise when you fall, and know that you’re stronger for it.
