A favourite of mine.
We all make mistakes, that’s ok.
But when we already “know” and continue to make the same mistakes, that’s when we need to pause. Either we’re not applying our knowledge, or we’re missing something.
Also true, is that the pursuit of knowledge without spending the time to practise its application is a waste. For example, ‘reading the book’ isn’t the goal…using what you’ve learnt is. I used to inhale personal development content, until one day I realised that was less than half the equation. So I started to practise what I’d learnt and keeping what worked, before I moved on to the next best seller.
The takeaway is that execution is knowledge plus deliberate application.
